The Economic Development Department's Workforce Development Bureau connects individuals and businesses to opportunities—job seekers to employment and businesses to skilled workers. Our Long Beach Workforce Innovation Network (LBWIN) Adult Career Services Center (4811 Airport Plaza Dr., Suite 120) is an entry point to public workforce development services for both job seekers and employers. The location offers a variety of no-cost services and has staff available to assist individuals seeking employment and career paths. Our dedicated staff also hosts a number of job fairs, conducts on-site recruitment and outreach activities for job seekers and employers.
Adults seeking employment are encouraged to schedule an appointment for an in-person orientation to learn about available individualized career services, training programs and supportive services to help upgrade your skills and return to work.

CalJOBS is an online platform the California Employment Development Department (EDD) provides to help California residents find employment and connect with various job-related services. It’s primarily designed for job seekers, employers, and workforce professionals, offering tools for job search, career planning and hiring.
Gladeo
Gladeo is an online career exploration platform that helps job seekers and educators gain insights into various career paths and industries. Through video storytelling and informational resources, Gladeo seeks to make career exploration engaging and accessible.
Career Cruising
Career Cruising is an online career guidance platform designed to help youth, educators, and job seekers explore various career options and plan for future educational and career paths using interest profilers, assessments, and occupational information.
Long Beach Public Library Job and Career Resources
Use your Long Beach Library card to gain access to robust online-based resume support, job boards, one-on-one interview preparation, and training courses through LinkedIn Learning and Udemy.

Long Beach Workforce Innovation Network Board
The Long Beach Workforce Innovation Network (LBWIN) Board represents the cities of Long Beach and Signal Hill. The Board is comprised of entrepreneurs, community leaders, educators and stakeholders of the community and work together in an effort to create more economic opportunities for workers and businesses of Long Beach. The Board meets quarterly and all meetings are open to the public.
